Laura Link began her singing career in elementary school as a member of Malone Thomason's children's choir. Shortly thereafter, she began acting and singing with the Rutherford County Arts Council where she discovered a love of performing. Laura has appeared in well over 70 Arts Council productions playing a wide variety of roles such as Alice in Alice Through the Looking Glass, Guenevere in Camelot, and Lady Gilden, the wicked stepmother in Cinderella. She is a member of the sanctuary choir of First Baptist of Forest City and sings with the Rutherford Community Chorus.
She is a 1995 graduate of R-S Central, and earned her BFA from UNC School of the Arts in Costume Design. Laura is the resident Costume Designer for the Rutherford County Arts Council, and serves as the Drama Teacher in their Playing for Keeps After School Program.
Laura and her husband Lucas live in Rutherfordton and are looking forward to the arrival of their first son this November.
